Vision
The future should not be defined before it is explored.
01Why XYMiracle exists
Built around a question, not an answer.
Most technology organisations are organised around an answer. This one starts from a question: what should be built, if we refuse to assume that the current shape of computing is the final one?
Curiosity is easy to declare and hard to sustain. Sustaining it means being able to afford the experiments, the machines, the failed attempts and the years that serious exploration takes. That is the reason XYMiracle intends to be a commercial organisation as well as a research one — not despite the research, but because of it.
02Exploration needs a home
Ideas survive inside organisations, not intentions.
An idea on its own does not go anywhere. It needs an organisation that can hire, buy, build, measure, and keep going after the first attempt fails — one that is not organised around a single product cycle.
XYMiracle is intended to be that kind of organisation: long-term, deliberate, and able to hold a question for longer than a funding cycle. That is the whole ambition at this stage. Everything else is the work of getting there.
03Philosophy
Be bold in imagination. Be rigorous in proof.
Imagination
Ask the questions with no obvious next step.
The questions worth asking are usually the ones where nobody can yet describe how to answer them. We would rather look naive for a while than converge on something small because it was easy to prove.
Proof
Then let the evidence decide.
A belief is not a result. Ideas have to survive evidence, experiment, engineering validation and real-world testing — and be discarded when they do not. Being wrong early and visibly is the cheapest way to be wrong.
The two halves only work together. Imagination without proof is speculation; proof without imagination is administration. We want to be the kind of organisation that can hold both without flinching — and that says which one it is doing at any given moment.
04Business and research
Exploration requires independence. Independence requires resources.
Research funded entirely by someone else’s priorities drifts towards those priorities. We want the freedom to keep pursuing a question past the point where it looks promising — which means revenue that does not depend on a single thesis being right.
So we are not deferring commercial work until after the research, and we are not making money first and deciding later what to do with it. We are picking commercial directions that sit next to the research and feed it — which is why compute infrastructure, our first commercial direction, is also infrastructure the research will eventually need.
05Where we are starting
Three directions, held as starting points.
A
Compute Infrastructure
Use today’s technology to explore scalable AI computing infrastructure — and validate whether a sustainable compute business can be built on it.

Computing for AI
Learn from real AI workloads, and explore what future computing systems should become when they are designed around AI itself.

World Models
Explore how machines can build deeper models of the physical and natural world.

06Openness
What we are not deciding in advance.
Today’s CPU, GPU and server architecture should not be assumed to be the final form of AI computing. World models are a promising direction, not a dogma. The three directions above describe where we are starting — not what XYMiracle is.
Over a long enough horizon, other fields may matter more. We mention them only so that nothing here is read as a boundary:
- Physical intelligence
- Robotics
- Spatial computing
- Scientific discovery
- Categories that do not have names yet
None of these are announcements. If a direction stops surviving evidence, we will say so and change it. The commitment is to the method, not to the list.
Start something that lasts.
XYMiracle is at Day 0. That is the least comfortable and most useful time to join.
